Māmaki is a native to Hawai'i, small tree that is relative to the nettle family & has been used historically & culturally for a variety of purposes from making cordage, kapa clothe, plant dying, an amazing plant for restoration & reforestation efforts, & ingested as an herbal tea. Māmaki is caffeine free & is a nourishing herbal treat that can aid in cleaning the water ways of the body, cleansing toxins from the bloodstream, is calming & supportive to the nervous system with a grounding golden brown tone, & a mild + earthy flavor similar to black tea. Māmaki tea can also be brewed with fresh leaves producing a more pungent, fresh flavor & beautiful red coloring. We are humbled & grateful beyond to work with the earth & this special plant in our hope to make more available & share in the nourishment of this plant relative with the community & those who could use her medicine & essence.

Our Māmaki is grown organically on a small scale regenerative farm in Kīlauea on the island of Kaua'i. We start from seed, hand plant & care for our plants & soil in a reciprocal + regenerative way, hand harvest the leaves to be washed, naturally slow dried, & hand cut to make our loose leaf Māmaki tea. We bag our tea in recycled kraft tea bags available in a variety of sizes from sample sizes to 1/2 oz, 1oz, & on.

We supply dried Māmaki leaf but can also supply custom orders of fresh Māmaki leaf to our island community.
We can also supply in larger quantities,
send us an email of what you're looking for!

Thank you to the earth & plants for so generously sustaining & teaching us.

May you enjoy your tea ~
