Wild Ways Family Farms are an earth based, heart centered collection of local offerings to support the nourishment & wellness within our lives and the greater world. We are a grass roots, woman run, small scale, all natural, regenerative farm with our primary farm site located in Kīlauea on the island of Kaua'i. We are proud to be a no-till, natural farm relying heavily on mulch, compost, cover cropping, companion planting & so on to create a biodiverse ecosystem. We are not certified organic but we make sure that we grow everything from sourced, high quality organic seed, or propogated from other gardens nearby. We are grateful & humbled to be able to tend the earth in a good way and to grow medicine, herbs, and food for our small island community & others.
In August of 2024 we began branching out / retuning to our roots, and embarked on starting a sister farm + homestead in my home state of Ohio. We're excited to continue growing medicinal herbs, expand our flower farming potential, grow tons of food & medicine for our family & community here, and make value added farm products from tea, dried herbs & apothecary items, to dried flowers & wreaths, to food & specialty products like canned salsa, pickled & fermented veggies, chicken eggs, & livestock items in time. Perhaps hosting workshops, offering seed sales, cultivating flower tubers for sale, tending honey bees . . . the potential is endless! We're merging our two farms to offer an even wider varitety of handmade farm produce & goods.
