Herb Crafting Class

Herbalism is for everyone & can be incorporated into our everyday lives super easily while we also get to enjoy the medicine the herbs share & offer to us. In this 4 hour workshop we’ll dive into common herbs & working with them, sourcing & growing ourselves, working with fresh vs dried herbs, ways to extract, intake & incorporating herbs, and learn + practice extraction methods for herbal infusions : water, oil & alcohol extractions & their functions/ uses. We will craft our own tea blend, make an infusion & drink the tea, make & strain an oil infusion, go over making salves, & make an alcohol extraction & sample tinctures. Take home some herbs for you to work with at home. A compiled years of learning, practice, deepening with the herbs, working with & experiencing them, growing herbs, sharing herbal products we make ourselves, into this intimate hands on + oral with note taking class as we show up as students, caretakers & in relationship with creation. You’ll leave this class inspired & ready to start working with herbs & making your own herbal goods!
